Why You Turn Your Life Upside Down - Day 20

I woke up this morning with a hymn being sung in my head. Hymns have a way of putting things into perspective for me. We all need perspecitve as January 29 approaches, the day FOM launches worship. So, in your song of prayer today, praise Him through the words of this hymn. Honestly, this is what it is all about. This is why we wake up in the morning seeking Jesus. This is why you will turn your life upside down to start a church. This is why your soul wakes up singing a hymn.

O, Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power thro'out the universe displayed,

Chorus: Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee,
How great thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee,
How great thou art, how great thou art!

When thro' the woods and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze;

Chorus

And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin;

Chorus

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!

Chorus

Today's Prayer: Specifically ask for favor with HCC in the signing of the lease for worship. May He be glorified. May we receive because we ask. Matthew 7:7
